Tiago Pinheiro de Oliveira was born in Porto, Portugal where he studied Singing, Trumpet and Musical Theorie.
In the year of 2007 he receives his Diploma in Musical Theory and Pedagogics at the Universiy of Aveiro.
Between 2007 and 2010 he studied Choral Direction with Professor Martin Schmidt, and Orchestra Direction with Professor Andreas Weiss at the Music Department at Karlsruhe,
Germany.
As a Choir Singer he worked with a range of German and Swiss ensembles as Vokalensemble Rastatt, Orpheus Vokalensemble, Freiburger Vokalensemble, ChorwerkRuhr, Stuttgarter Kammerchor and Züricher Sing Akademie.
He studied Singing at the acclaimed Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, with Rosa Dominguez.
Sang the „The Fairy Queen“ from Henry Purcell, and “”Medée” from Marc-Antoine Charpentier, at the Theater Basel, as a soloist. In the realm of the Opera Stage other experiences include the aclaimed Monteverdi “L´Orfeo” under Ivor Bolton at the Prinzregent Theater in Munich.
As an Oratorio singer Tiago Oliveira has been heard with several Bach works including St. Mathew Passion Evangelist, the Christmas Oratorio and different Cantatas and Lutheran Masses, as also the Mozart Requiem and Haute- Contre parts in different French Baroque oratorios from Campras to Charpentier.
